LESSON 6: IMAGING & DESIGN FOR ONLINE ENVIRONMENT

 

                Our last lesson is quite good, because we’re able to create infographics, the priciples and basic techniques of image manipulation,uploading, sharing and image hosting.  

LESSON 5: ADVANCED PRESENTATION SKILLS

 

            I’ve learned so far the use of hyperlinks in  PowerPoint presentation and all the PowerPoint Interface. To have a better presentation, they taught us on how to insert slides, picture, chart and clip art, even the use of the outline that we use to display the text content to each slide. We could also use the notes pane, it is the speaker notes that we can find  below the slide. We’re using that for additional information or if we forget something to tell to the listeners.  Next is Creating an effective Presentation,we learned how to minimize, contrast, visualize our graphics or design.

LESSON 4: ADVANCED SPREADSHEET SKILLS

Here in lesson 4, we focused in using Microsoft Excel. This is a spread sheet app that allows us to store, manipulate and analyze data. We discussed the excel interface for us to know the proper use of Excel.  In our task(s) I learned the different use of every key in the computer keyboard. Like for example the Ctrl+1 which means ‘format cells’, the order of operation in Excel, the reference symbol and many more.

 

LESSON 3: ADVANCE WORD PROCESSING

 For this lesson, I’ve learned  the use of word processing that is use to create, edit and print documents. Also the use of Mail Merge and its 2 components basically the Form document that contains the main body of the message. Lastly is the list of data file that contains the list of names and addresses. I also learned the use of text wrapping  and even come up with some activities, including the use of shapes, clip art, screen shots ,chart and etc. for pictures

LESSON 2: RULES OF NETIQUETTES

 In lesson 1, when we tackled about social media, our lesson in Rules of Netiquette became more useful. It taught us the online safety and security for us to know more about the internet threats, especially on how to protect our reputations online, because nowadays there are lots of people whom we can’t trust. While in copyright infringement, there are some tips for us to avoid this. First is to understand, be responsible, be creative and lastly, know the law.

LESSON 1: INTRODUCTION OF ICT

                In our past lesson(s) about  Information and communication technologies or ICT, I’ve learned that internet, mobile phone and many more can be use in different communication technologies to locate, send, save or even edit informations. The goal of ICT is to have a unified way to communicate. ICT are very useful for us because it has saved a lot of resources like for example our time and money. We’ve discussed the different  Dynamic web pages including the folksonomy etc. Social Media is one of the trends in ICT,  as a student  we are all using this website or online channel  Among all our lessons, I must say that this is one of the most exciting one because I was able to learn/know more information on how ICT works especially in our daily lives.
